Elementary
Our elementary program (grades 1-5) is designed to support the holistic development of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children in a fully accessible, language-rich environment. We embrace a bilingual-bimodal approach, fostering fluency in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English, while ensuring alignment with Rhode Island State Standards. This approach helps students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our classrooms are led by highly qualified teachers who are certified in both content areas and in the education of students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Teachers are proficient in both ASL and English, ensuring that all students have equal access to the curriculum.
Through a supportive and inclusive learning environment, we prepare our elementary students to succeed academically and socially, setting the foundation for lifelong learning and growth.
